English is one of the subjects that I hate the most, because it is hard and complicated. But after I had this task, I found out that English is quite interesting. I realized that English can be improved in some way. First of all, I improve my English by watching movies and reading some books that are written in English. By doing this, I obtained some sense in this language. Additionally, I took some English lesson in order to improve my quality of writing. Before I took this lesson, I have difficulties in representing my ideas in some essays or papers, where people would not be able to understand what I wrote. By taking this lesson, my English has been improved.
I realized that most important thing to improve my English further is by practicing. As I write essays and papers regularly, I know that I was being able to write papers in right structures. However, I have great intention in making the paper sophisticatedly or perfectly. As a result, I must read more English books. With my motivation, I believe that I will be able to understand English deeper.
What I can share in this blog entry is that English is different with Indonesian. English can't be simply expressed by translating Indonesian into English. Most of it will sound weird and does not make sense.
This assessment task is hard and confusing. During this semester, I got bad grades in English. I will keep practicing and thanks to Miss Laura who always helps me in the past when I need some helps. Thanks also for teachers and lessons taught in this semester.
